Compassionate and Dedicated Psychotherapists
LDH Counseling and Consulting was established in 2017 serving Cleveland County and the surrounding counties in North Carolina with their needs for individual therapy, family therapy, marriage counseling provided by experienced and dedicated psychotherapists. We welcome people of any gender, race, sexual orientation, spiritual beliefs, and cultural backgrounds. Located at Patton Drive Suite B Shelby, NC 28150 (Directly behind Cleveland County Court House).

We offer an array of styles with therapy, included, but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eclectic and Solution-Focused and many more to fit the needs of the consumers we serve. Substance Use Therapy also offered virtually and in-person sessions available.

I am a LCMHC who has the experience working in the mental health profession for over 20 plus years. I enjoy working with individual and families to reach their maximum potential in life. I am a 2014 graduate of Capella University. I am a nationally certified TF-CBT therapist.

Shannon Gordon, MSW, LCSWA is a 2022 graduate of Walden University. Shannon enjoys working with children and adults primarily using CBT techniques and Solution -Focused Therapy.
LaSha Bess, MSW, LCSWA
LaSha is a graduate of UNC-Charlotte in 2015 and Winthrop University in 2020 (MSW). LasSha is a compassionate and client-centered therapist with over ten years of experience supporting children, adults, and families through challenging life circumstances. Her primary treatment modalities include Cognitive Behavioral
